Sold on April 30th
to an
experienced bird hand feeder. I feel so confident that
Lilly will have a wonderful place to live filled with love and
happiness!!! It's more than a "sale" to me. It has to be
a "perfect" fit!
I
originally named this cute little babe, Techno because of the
Mohawk.
When the
buyer came, she saw my little daughter named Lilly and decided
to name this little baby, Lilly!!! Welcome to your new
home, Lilly! You will be missed. |

Sold on May 27th:
I didn't exactly
get the amount I wanted for Glory and Feisty. Glory is
the Dutch Blue. She would have gone for a lot more. BUT,
there is a great story behind this one... Somewhat sad... The
gal that purchased the birds tonight said that they were for
her 95 year old mother. Apparently, she lives with her mom and
cares for her. She is a retired nurse. They had to get
rid of their cat recently - for some reason - and the mom is
saying she hears the cat and is looking for the cat throughout
the house... Jean, the daughter, is saddened by this because
the cat isn't there anymore and it would break her mom's heart
to be reminded of this.
So, she
contacted me and we spoke for a long time today. She told me
of her life and needs. I just felt her mom really needed
these birds and it was my pleasure to cut the price in half
and to give them a small cage. I know that her mom is
just going to be so blessed by these two. They truly are
LOVEBIRDS. |

Sold on May 30th:
Again,
Peekachu (AKA Franky) found another home. He was brought
back by the original purchaser because they weren't ready to
have a bird yet. Peekachu seemed happier around other
birds too. So, after one little week, Peek came back.
Well, not even 4 days, he was swooped up. He is going to
another good home and this time, he will be with another
female Cockatiel. She will keep him company. Seems
like a good fit. I received a call from the new owner
that Peek was very happy and calm and communicating with the
other bird.
Bye, sweet
Franky. You will be missed!

Sold on May 31st: My
goodness. I am going to miss Piper. I didn't want to
sell her at all and I told Ms. Tami that! LOL Piper was
really something special to me. She was sister to baby Hope
(also shown in one of my videos). Hope had failure to thrive (FTT).
She passed away after 2 weeks of care and food aspiration.
It really broke my heart, and Piper was her sibling.
Well, this nice family really had interest in her and for
about a month or less, I struggled with the thought of letting
her go. She is so sweet, tame, and just a peaceful
little bird. I miss her. I had frequent e-mails and
interest from the new momma. It was so nice to share the growth as I held
this baby for the new family. She will be in a great home.
There are three little boys and a very loving momma.
They have renamed her Daisy. Maybe her name can be: Daisy
Hope! I will miss you dear sweet Piper.
Thank you new family!! Enjoy her.
She is a blessing. |

Sold on June 12th: Two
in one day! This is little OREO. Kind of looks like a
sweet little cookie with a creamy middle, doesn't it?
Oreo came from the sweetest little mom and dad and all of the
siblings came out perfect and well mannered! Oreo is just
beautiful with the white colored feathers showing mostly on
the flight wings. She chirped instead of screaming. She was
patient with her sisters and brother. She is going to be
missed. My daughter Hayley cried seeing her go. 2 more
just as sweet as her is all that is left. ;(
Bye Oreo. |
